Favorite Songs

Wild Sweet Orange recently posted a blog entry in which they list their favorite songs for certain occasions. I thought it might be intersting to found out what songs other people have reserved for special moments. Here are mine:

Gearing up for band practice: The Raconteurs album "Consolers of the Lonely" (for the moment anyway)

So that's a small sampling. What you got?

Basically I don't have any particulr song for any specific occaisions. Alot of it has to do with which albums are close at hand. Being a person that appreciates most every genre of music, selection of situational jams is not a priority. I tend to relate whatever I'm listening to to the situation at hand. That being said, here are a few that I do sometimes single out for whatever mood I'm in: O.K.- here goes
Feelin' Blue- (pick-me-up):"Dread Clampitt" by Dread Clampitt
(stay blue): "Melissa" by The Allman Brothers Band
Stoked- this can be a large list, but I'm going with "Guerilla Radio" by Rage Against The Machine---mini tribal!!!!! woot!!
4:20- Anything by Sublime, Phish, The Dead- I think you know where I'm going with this.
Angry- "Raining Blood" by Slayer
